We’ve entered a NEW DECADE!! Can you believe it!? And what better time than now to share our latest design with all of you. But first, we couldn’t be more excited for what 2020 has in store for us over here at DWK. And as always, we are excited to bring you along for the adventure.
If you saw the sneak peek of this project a few weeks ago, you know we have been on the edge of our seats waiting to share the final transformation with all of you!! And after about a year delay with our clients condo being built, we were equally excited to show them the final reveal. Newly retired, and empty nesters, our clients decided they wanted to be in the centre of the action & live a simple condo life and take advantage of what Mount Royal Village has to offer. We couldn’t be more excited for them and are so grateful we were able to be apart of their transition!
Before we share with you the gorgeous afters, here are a few before’s of their empty space. Great views, large windows, and an open concept = a designer’s best friend!
BEFORE
AFTER
Can you believe how much natural light this condo gets? It’s beautiful! And we took full advantage of the views this condo offers by ensuring we were strategic with furniture placement. Who wouldn’t want to spend their morning drinking coffee & looking out onto this beautiful city of ours?!
We used a light, neutral colour palette but mixed in pops of emerald green, yellow & rose tones throughout. When our client said she wanted to incorporate emerald green, our whole team jumped for joy – we were dying to use this palette for quite sometime. We love the textural elements weaved into this design, from the rustic wood dining table, the leather details on the dining room chairs, the metal and mirrored coffee tables + pops of gold accents ensuring the space felt elegant and warm.
Before this space comes to an end, can we take a moment to drool over these two fantastic wallpaper focal walls? – they were the perfect backdrop to tie this whole space together. Modern, yet whimsical to create a space that turned out to be jaw-dropping beautiful! Let us know what you think in the comments below.
