Summer’s end often feels bittersweet, so for us, it’s all about embracing new inspiration for the season ahead. Once our team gets dreaming and hits the mood boards, well…let’s just say we feel ready to crunch leaves, sip hot drinks and curl up on the couch in no time and have all the fall inspired design to show you.
Fall truly brings the concept of ‘home’ back into focus. As patio and BBQ days dwindle, our living rooms see more gathering and dwelling. What better time to show you the design style and pieces we’ve been eyeing? We’ve rounded up our favourite mood boards as of late to inspire new possibilities for your living room:
Earthy-Elegant with Rustic Undertones
Fact: Warm tones and rustic accents don’t have to feel heavy! This style is airy-light yet oh-so cozy, don’t you think? We love solid, low-rising pieces like this coffee table and these ottomans for casual gathering, and the muted rug and organic watercolour artwork infuses a sense of harmony. Sheepskin throws nearby and luxurious, wood-wicked candles are a must for fall.
Contemporary-Eclectic with Traditional Edge
Talk about a beautiful balance; this style is contemporary, yet eclectic and traditional with just the right contrast. We leaned into warmth with wood tones, brass and wicker, offset by black accents with a slightly industrial vibe. We can’t be sure of the inspiration behind the artwork, but we love its rich colours and the sense of heritage it evokes. Top it off with cozy textiles and we’ll see you there!
Modern-Minimalist with California Flair
We can totally picture cocktails and board games or a cozy movie night among this style. The desert-inspired patterns and textural textiles bring life to the neutral palette, and we were immediately drawn to the wavy character of the floor lamp and accent chair arms. Our favourite element just might be the unique upholstered coffee table with rounded edges – it’s just faintly surfboard-esque!
