A ‘SCENIC’ NEW BUILD REFRESH

Filed in Sanctuary

Every time we get to do a new client install, the project instantly becomes our favourite. Just like you should never have a favourite child, but you secretly do 😉 This install was a dream to put together, from the design process to the reveal day, our team (and the client of course) was excited to see it all come together. And the view…well that just made it 10x more enjoyable!

The neutral colour palette with wood accents showcase the client’s vision for a bright, modern look but with a welcoming home vibe. When there is too much glass and monotone colours a space can sometimes feel cold and empty, but we really love how the wood tones and mixed fabrics transform this home into a cozy sanctuary which we are secretly calling “warm modern.”

LIVING ROOM

Now can we just talk about these windows? And this view? It’s like love at first sight, truly! And we wanted to take full advantage of this large bright space and keep in open but with an edge of modern sophistication. The clean lines of white, black and glass were balanced with the softness of the light wood accents. And if you’ve been following along with us for a while you know how we love to mix materials and this room really showcases that.

And we have to talk about this piano for a minute – we are OBSESSED with this white, vintage-looking piano and wanted to make it a focal! We love to incorporate pieces that a client already has and this piano was the perfect addition to this room. Using this black & white custom wall mural emphasized piano keys and was just the right touch of WOW without taking away from the rest of the space.

DINING ROOM

Almost complete, our client was looking for the final touches to this already beautiful space. So with a little touch of styling and this metal wall decor, it was the perfect way to add dimension and the final touches to this dynamic space. This piece proves that art doesn’t have to be boring!

MASTER BEDROOM

Another jaw-dropping view! Can we get a double like!?

This master bedroom just needed a few final touches so we incorporated a large area rug to ground our clients already-purchased upholstered bed, while incorporating new bedding, a roman shade blackout out style blind and accessories.

Tip: Adding throw pillows to a room can change the feel and we love how this custom floral pattern adds just a hint of colour and warmth to this Master Bedroom!
