Our Newest Home Reveal | Patterson Project

If you’ve been following along, you know how we feel about clean and bright spaces. So when a client comes to us looking for just that, you know we’re pumped. We just put the finishing touches on this space and we are excited to hear what you think!

When we first walked into this home, we knew we had to take advantage of all the windows and natural light. It was already so bright, we just needed the decor to compliment it. And with many of our new home builds, the old furniture just didn’t work in this new space! So like the saying goes, “out with the old, in with the new!”

Our favourite elements of this space (besides the windows & views, of course) are the burnt orange & green accents, the large brick fireplace, and the layers of different textures throughout. Let us walk you through the space!

The Living Room

This was such a FUN space to design. It reminded me of a Studio Mcgee backdrop to work with and these clients were very trust-worthy towards what we thought would look best. And it turned out better than we could have imagined.

As you can see, ample seating throughout was a priority. A large sofa paired with two large chairs and a couple of ottomans placed in front of the fireplace create a cozy, yet spacious seating area for this family.

Copper, green and orange accents were pulled out of the beautiful painting above the fireplace the client’s Mother painted as the pops of color throughout. Paired with oatmeal toned furniture and white drapery as the backdrop, the color palette screams warmth and cozy throughout!

The Kitchen

Entertaining much? YES!

These clients definitely wanted to have a space that would accommodate a large group all the time and because of the large dining area and island, this was an easy wish to check off their list. We combined a few different seating styles for this space to create interest and a customized look for our clients. The black leather tufted counter stools are the perfect compliment to this grand & luxe kitchen.

The Bedroom

These clients wish was to keep their current bedroom furniture as it was quite new. However, because the ceiling height of this space was quite high, I knew we needed to extend the height of their low platform bed with something magical & powerful to create balance in their space. These beautiful handmade copper leafs from Thailand were just what was needed and they look SO great in their space!

We complimented the rest of the space with whites, oatmeal tones and a pop of navy blue. Blackout traversing drapery creates a calmness in their room & compliments this large window with a beautiful softness.
